On April 22nd, the Autistic Self-Advocacy Network of Kansas City (ASAN-KC) hosted its first CryptoParty in an effort to educate and empower those with disabilities to protect and secure their data. This talk will cover how we planned the event, what we discussed – namely, using Linux/FOSS security & encryption tools; the experience of attendees, what we would/could do better next time, and how you can plan your own CryptoParty.
