I started using linux in 1994 with slackware when you had to install it from a a large stack of 3.5″ floppy discs. I’ve worked in software development and system administration always on Unix or Linux systems. In 1999 I started a Linux focused website which was sold during the height of the dot-com boom. For the last 18 years I’ve run a company focused on building Linux based HPC solutions to customers across the US.
